Just before creating this documentary, I stumbled across a book called "Towards A Philosophy of Photography", by Vilém Flusser, a Brazilian philosopher. The book focused on the semiotics of photography, as well as the purpose, meaning and consequences of the images people take. It spoke of a world ran by images, instead of the words that signify them. I thought this was an intriguing theme, and I created this documentary to see if this was even more true within the modern photographic industry.
